Some people also meet us there or stay on longer.

~ YOGA & OFFERING INFO ~

All levels of experience welcome! New or accustomed to yoga, clear guidance & an array of levels & options will always be offered.
Everything we share is simply an invitation & guidance, where we welcome you to do whatever feels right for you

The morning yoga sessions will usually last around an hour & a bit, but due to a full & exciting itinerary some mornings may last just an hour, or span up to 1.5 +, depending on the time available to us. Each morning will start with a grounding & long warm up to prepare the body for the practice & adventure ahead. The morning sharing’s will be a weaving together of guided movement, yoga flows, mudras, breathwork & pranyama, positive affirmations, a welcoming of creative expression & more.
The evening sessions will last anywhere between half an hour to an hour & a bit depending on how long the day has been & the energy of the group. These wind down sessions will always include guided meditation & sound bath. Sometimes also offering Yoga Nidras, gentle movement & stretches, as well as some evenings including massage & oils, from self massage to guided partner work.
One evening session will be a cacao ceremony with elemental dance journey & sound bath under the stars.
~
Each person is required to take their own yoga mat & any extra bits they like, such as eye pillow, cushion or blocks etc.
We are able to lend some bits out if anyone is missing anything, but you would be in charge of transporting it.

~ MEAL INFO ~

All breakfasts & dinners included ~ Except for dinner on departure / travel day.
As well as the odd pot of Moroccan tea & some nibbles along the way.
Most dinners will offer an array of dishes & often be 3 courses.
~
Each day will offer time & a place to be & share lunch, some days we may order as a group to share several things or a set menu & split the costs, other days you may wish to order your own lunch items or menu, or maybe even just a snack & drink. This is completely up to you.
Lunch costs in the past have usually been between £7-£12 on average depending on what you go for, if you add drinks etc.
Meat options (as this a big part of the Moroccan diet, especially in the mountains & dessert) will also be available for lunch & dinner for those that wish for it. ~ It will be halal & fresh & the animal will usually have had a good life.
~
PLEASE NOTE ~ Dietary requirements & allergies can be catered for, but some accommodations are remote & our meals are cooked by locals in a traditional way with seasonal ingredients & plenty of delicious spices & flavours.
So not ALL intolerances will have the usual replacements ~ for example like GF bread & vegan milk is unlikely to exist in some stops etc.

Something else worth noting is ~ Although the food & meals will change from place to place, it can become a little repetitive as most places will offer healthy, locally sourced & handmade traditional food & you will see many of the same things pop up through out the 9 days.
This will include lots of Moroccan salads, veg soups, couscous, tagines, berber omelettes, fruit & other items.

~ DRINK INFO ~

Bottled water will be provided through out & breakfasts will offer tea, coffee & juice.
Some extras such as pots of Moroccan mint tea will be included at some stops, but in general all drinks will be your choice & yours to pay for, whether this be in a restaurant on evenings out or in the riads & hotels we stay in.
If people are getting drinks at hotels & riads you are able to pay as & when you order or usually able to add them to a tab on your room number & will be reminded to pay this off before leaving the place.
For those of you that enjoy a bit of alcohol, some places will offer this, but not all (desert camps). We are all on holiday & are happy for you to drink what you wish, so long as you behave ~ Aha!

~ ACCOMMODATION INFO ~

The retreat price is for a twin room, unless you request otherwise & we have agreed on this.
Single supplement available on request ~ Limited availability!
The links above say ‘or similar’ beside them ATM, as April is high season & with it being so soon, we need to send deposits ASAP to secure availability.
Fresh linen & towels provided at every stop. Most of the places we will stay are boutique style & traditionally decorated in beyond gorgeous rooms & bathrooms. We will stay in a few places with pools.
Some of the accommodations don’t have websites & even those that do, many don’t do the places justice we feel!
~ If you are joining with a friend let us know & we can pair you together.

~ TRAVEL & FLIGHT INFO ~

We recommend people trying to get the same flight as Sandra if flying to & from UK if possible just to make it easier for transfers Morocco end.
But any flight times can be accommodated for ~ Morocco airport transfer costs may be incurred though.
Aiming for similar time frames also helps with the flow of the retreat.
Alternative arrival & departure times, or meeting us there / staying longer in Morocco is fine too! ~ We can assist setting up extra / different transfers & longer stays through Mahjoub at an additional cost through our good friend & tour guide if you wish.
~ Feel free to be in touch about this.

~ MONEY INFO & TIPS ~

Morocco use the dirham, which is a closed currency, meaning you cannot get it until your there.
Our tour guides will take us to change some at the start of the trip & when needed. Although not all days will have access to banks etc.
~
TIPS ~ We will create a kitty between the group at the start of trip to leave tips for the lovely staff that host us at our riads, hotels & restaurants etc
We will probably ask for £10 from each of us then see if we need to top up on the last days.
At the end of the trip we will also do a collection for our drivers & Mahjoub ~ 3 in total.
For this we suggest between £10 - £20 from each person, but it is up to you how much you give.

~

What is included & whats not, can be found on the main Morocco page & on terms & conditions.
Feel free to be in touch about any of this & we are always happy to share a call too(:
